My morning protein = my “Toasted Oats’n Nuts Breakfast Smoothie.” Step 1: In a small skillet, toast 4 walnut halves and 2 Tbsp rolled oats over medium heat till aromatic; set aside to cool. Step 2: In a blender, combine 1 cup MILK, cooled nuts and oats, ½ cup frozen sliced bananas, 1 tsp honey and 1 tsp chia seeds; blend til smooth; let it sit for 1 minute. Pour into a large glass, drizzle with more honey and garnish with a banana slice. Ready… Start… Your day!
